Benjamin Schorr, Senior Manager, Philanthropy, Kellogg
Our retail partners are so vital.
It seems obvious to point out, but they’re the gateway to nourishment for people in communities big and small across America.
Their importance goes beyond what they offer on their store shelves, though.
Grocers and other retailers are also regular supporters of hunger initiatives that put food in front of people who otherwise cannot afford it – a cause that is near and dear to our hearts at Kellogg.
The latest example is The GIANT Company with GIANT AND MARTIN’S grocery stores in Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia and West Virginia.
Between September 3-10, customers who spend $15 on Kellogg’s items will receive free grocery pick-up, and Kellogg will donate $5 to Feeding America each time this happens.
If a customer spends $25 on Kellogg’s items, they’ll receive free grocery delivery – and Kellogg will donate $5 to Feeding America®.
In all, our company has pledged $25,000 to Feeding America® as part of this weeklong campaign.
We’re proud to support The GIANT Company and thus, Feeding America® – and thus, people who face hunger.
