Festival Foods, Kellogg match raises $20,000 for Wisconsin food pantries

By Brian Stenzel, Senior Community Involvement Director, Festival Foods

A matching gift partnership between Festival Foods and Kellogg has raised $20,000 for Wisconsin food pantries!

Festival Foods began Food for Neighbors in 2004 to offer shoppers an easy way to support food pantries by donating $5 or $10 right at the checkout. In addition, Kellogg has a commitment to create Better Days for 3 billion people by the end of 2030. A perfect match to support local communities this holiday season.

For every box of Kellogg’s Frosted Flakes purchased at Festival Foods last month, Kellogg matched $1 as a donation to Food for Neighbors, up to $10,000. In addition, we matched the donation up to $10,000. With the more 13,000 purchases last month, Festival Foods and Kellogg were able to donate $20,000 to the benefit of the 40 food pantries that are part of the Food for Neighbors program in Wisconsin.

We share Kellogg’s commitment to ensuring families are fed and fulfilled, and we’re pleased that as a result of this partnership, more people will have access to meals this holiday season.
